Love all the weird & wonderful fungi around at this time of year! 🍄

I’m working on a collage inspired by a piece of music, this based on Sun, a joyous piece by @ejthackray . Her performance @weoutherefest was spellbinding. What a woman! jazz musician, band leader & DJ, such a warm performance 💛

Collage of Prospect Cottage, the home of film director, artist & activist Derek Jarman. He planted a garden so sensitive to it’s location, saying ‘Paradise haunts gardens, & some gardens are paradises. Mine is one of them. Others are like bad children, spoilt by their parents, over-watered & covered with noxious chemicals.’

Just arrived home after a fab weekend @weoutherefest amazing musicians, yoga, food in a beautiful setting. Met some lovely people! Thank you to all those who made it happen! ❤️

Wildflowers on a black ground a la Mary Delaney. There’s some fantastic hollyhocks growing on the lane that I can’t wait to work on....
